The Scotia Bar is one of the oldest hostelries in Glasgow having been established in 1792. Owned by Belhaven this Glasgow institution is largely unchanged inside, with it's low ceiling, wooden beams and collection of vintage photographs of the city, it does a good job at transporting you back in time.

Serving great value lunches and a variety of draft beers The Scotia is a great night off in a switched on atmosphere, where people aren`t allowed to just spectate.

There are live bands from Thursday through to Sunday but if you fancy a song yourself, guitars can be provided.

Bands wanted to play at the Scotia. If you're interested phone 0141 552 8681 and ask for Mary, alternatively email The Scotia for details
